The Alsterhof Hotel is housed in a modern, 7-storey building with a very 1990s-style granite and glass façade. The medium sized lobby is attractively appointed with grey tiles. The reception desk is to the right of the entrance and opposite there is a bar and seating area, furnished with blue leather chairs. Also medium sized, the 200 guestrooms are colour co-ordinated with beech wood furnishings. They are very bright and airy and offer business travellers the latest technological standards. The hotel’s Alsters Restaurant, on the lower ground floor, boasts a stylish atmosphere and offers guests a range of carefully selected regional and international dishes, while the obliging and attentive staff provides the very best service. The beer garden gives you the chance to lean back in a loom chair and enjoy a traditional "Berliner Weisse mit Schuss" – a light beer with a shot of berry juice in it. On the menu you will find delicious grilled meats and hearty Berlin specialities, such as the classic "Berliner Currywurst" (a sausage with curry powder and ketchup), or a simple "Schmalzstulle" (bread and dripping.)
